Natural Cleaning Products

Some homeowners may be allergic to or get irritation from certain types of cleaning products and therefore are unable to use them. This can make cleaning a difficult and tedious task!

Panic not, there are other natural alternatives that prove just as effective as many tested commercial products. If you are allergic to any cleaning products and find it difficult to clean up without them, or even just want to find a "greener" way of cleaning, then try a few of these natural cleaning products:

∗ Lemon Juice:

Fresh concentrated Lemon Juice is a natural acidic cleaner and bleaching agent. This can be used on all work surfaces, kitchen and bathroom also, and works in the exact same way as any antibacterial cleaning product.

∗ Lemon Juice & Salt:

To create an effective brass and copper cleaning product that is completely natural, simply mix together in a small pot 3-Parts Salt to 1-Part Lemon.

∗ White Wine Vinegar:

White Wine Vinegar can be used in one of a few ways; as this substance is an acidic, it will act as a lime scale remover, window cleaner and even a minor air-freshener as is eliminates some odours on contact.

∗ Sparkling Water (Soda)

There's nothing worse than red wine and deep coffee stains is there? Simply pour some Sparkling Water over the stain and on a cloth and scrub away.

∗ Baking Soda (Bicarbonate of Soda)

Baking Soda is a mild alkaline and can used to remove grease and dirt on numerous surfaces around your house including greased-on oven, stoves, cookers, sinks and baths. It will also rid your surfaces of acidic fruit stains!
